About Us
Active Minds, Inc. is currently a game company which is
based in Blue Diamond, Nevada. Established in 1991, Active Minds, Inc. was created
as a means to develop educational board games and in time develop other special services.
It is the intention of Active Minds, Inc. to ensure that it continues
to expand its most current product line via additional Card Game Editions which compliment
the current selections available for our award-winning educational board game,
"Comet® - The Fast Path To Learning".
As an important part of who we are, we aim to serve more than just
retail buyers, we will serve retailers, and distributors as well,
in delivering products which represent some of the best investments
for their money. The first and primary concern above all
others is the level of quality in all products we develop
for maximum level of productive results in learning for families.
Born in British Columbia, Canada, Sandy Evans, the creator and
company founder for Comet - "the fast path to learning",
is a multi-media artist and author. In her creation of her games
she strives to emphasize that education
is essential to the greater development of the child, and their
capacity for a better future.
Active
Minds is dedicated to creating educational games that cultivate
learning in a fun and engaging way. Our mission is to
create culturally important products through a company that gives
back to its community. Our
future goal is to develop a foundation that will aid the abandoned,
abused and neglected children.
Active Minds first appeared at the New York
Toy Fair, introducing Comet, The Fast Path to Learning, Family
Edition. We had representatives from France, Germany, South America
and Japan interested in their languages. We were told by larger
and respected companies, that there was “no profit” in
education here in America after years of development and refinement.
We now have our Children’s Game
Card Edition and The Bible Game available. Our belief is that
we will all profit when we educate our children.
Further Game Card Editions will soon be released, including
Health, History, Graduate, Master, College and Art.
Our primary concern above all others is the level of safety and
quality in all products.
Active Minds is dedicated to creating educational games that cultivate
learning in a fun and engaging way. Enriching vocabulary, aiding
reading comprehension and promoting confidence in ourselves will
be experienced when playing Comet, The Fast Path to Learning.
